4 CATWALK INSPIRED SPRING HAIRSTYLES

2018 is officially here and now that Christmas is over we’re already looking forward to warmer weather and being able to lock our coats back in the wardrobe. The Spring Summer 18 catwalk shows were full of insane hair inspiration that’s perfect for warmer weather. So today, we thought we’d share our fave looks from the catwalk with you and how to recreate them this spring.

This hairstyle from the Jill Stuart show is perfect for spring and the super textured look is as flattering as it is easy to maintain. To create this style use a hair straightener to add some loose waves by rocking the wand back and forth as you move down each section. Make sure to leave the ends straight though for a more natural, undone finish. Then, taking small sections from under your ears, create some small braids in various widths and tie the ends with hair elastics. Once your braids are finished start pulling them out to add volume and make the hair look thicker. Finish with a dust of salt spray and scrunch your hair throughout the day if you need to revive your style.

This gorgeously sleek bun from the Cushnie et Ochs show is super easy to recreate and a perfect day to night hairstyle too. Celebrity stylist Justine Marjan used a smoothing creme to get a super shiny finish on the hair before brushing it into a high pony. She then twisted the pony before wrapping it around into a bun and securing the hair with bobby pins. Make sure to finish the look with lots of hairspray for extra shine and to hold it in place. You could also add some pearl pins or a bun cuff to this look as hair accessories are going to be huge in 2018 too.

This super chic look at Pucci is an easy way to nail the wet look trend and it can be created on any hair length too making it super versatile. It’s better to use a gel or something with a strong hold for this look that will keep its shine when the product dries. We recommend the GHAIRS BRAZILIAN HAIR for this to get the best finish. Start by adding some loose waves into your hair with a straightener and setting them in place with hairspray. You then want to brush back your hair from the hairline to start creating the sleek look. If there are any areas you want to add some more volume to, this is your last chance to backcomb before you start setting the hair. Next take a pump of the Extreme Splash and start smoothing back your hairline, using a comb or your fingers to tame the hair as you go. You’ll need to keep adding product until you get the desired effect and all the hair at the crown of your head looks super sleek. Once you’re done add a spritz of hairspray for some extra shine and you’re good to go.

These natural waves at Gucci are giving us all sorts of beachy vibes and are a simple everyday look that works for pretty much everyone. For this look we recommend starting with wet hair and blow drying your hair into the centre part so that you get a really crisp line. Then take a large barrel curling wand and working in sections curl the hair and alternate the direction of each section towards and away from your face to create extra texture. Finish with some hairspray and and some finish balm to complete the look.
